- Nara Park is located on the east side of Nara City Street, with a length of 4 kilometers from east to west and a width of 2 kilometers from north to south. It covers a vast area and is home to many of Nara's famous historical sites such as Wakashima, Todaiji, Kasuga Daisha, and the National Museum. In Meiji 21, it became a prefectural park and was one of the pioneers of modern parks in Japan. Nara Park is a place where deer herds are relatively concentrated, and it is easy to see young deer, so some people also call it "Sika Deer Park".
- A shrine in Nara Park, formerly known as Kasuga Shrine. Built in the second year of the Tonghe era (710 AD). The builders are Fujiwara and others. A shrine built for the guardian deity of the Fujiwara family, who was in power at the time, and the shrine is also famous for its vines.
